The title says it all...how glad I am at this event is going to finish soon. Standing on my feet for 8 hours straight, for the past 8 days is taking a toll on my knee. Not only do I have to guide the buses to their appropriate locations...I have to entertain the delegates who asks me questions, while I'm guiding the bus mind you. Multi-tasking is something I've gotten used to these past few days though...but 1 thing that I've gained through this event is some self-confidence. Strange as it may seem...I've plucked up the courage to befriend some of the bus-hostess, which something I will usually not do. Got a gal's number though she's attached...but the main thing is that I managed to get her number. Well, hopefully that's a start to many other beautiful relationships...

The event dat will chart S'pore onto the world is coming soon...& the part dat I'll be playing is marshalling or, to put it in the lamest terms...guiding the buses which brings all of the delegates to Suntec Covention Centre for their conferences. I'll be doin an 7 hrs shift guiding the buses which means I hav 2 stand on my 2 feet the whole 7 hrs, which means dat I'll be having muscles aches again!!! Had the trial run tis morn & it was crap!!! So what if the buses doesn't park parallel wif the kerb..?? Do the delegates care..?? They wil be too busy to notice tis minute details as they will be rushing off to their conferences...they won't stop & pat me on the shoulder & say,"Gd job for making the bus park parallel wif the kerb...". What more bullshit do I have to endure til I ORD...?? Hopefully, after tis IMF thing...no more crap. But I still hope to get a few girls' contact numbers from tis event...dat is, if I'm lucky...& bold & not to mention, brave enuf to ask for their contact number.
